Chapter activities include outreach programs with local schools, field trips, forecasting contests and fundraisers to support student travel to the annual AMS conference. The organization also holds social events each semester to provide an opportunity to get to know each other outside of a classroom setting. Meetings are typically held once per month during the Spring and Fall semesters. The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Student Chapter of the AMS strives to bring those interested in Atmospheric Sciences together and to have fun in the process. Anyone who is interested in Atmospheric Sciences is encouraged to join our student organization.
