  • Amplify ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s unique voice, image and reputation.
  • Partner across campus to synchronize marketing and communications efforts to ensure our brand promise is delivered.
  • Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies that advance ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and share our excellence.
  • Produce dynamic content across communication channels, spotlighting stories, achievements and initiatives that raise awareness about ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ regionally and nationally.

Our division is comprised of Creative Services and Brand Strategy, Digital Strategy, Government and Community Relations, and Public Relations. We collaborate with stakeholders across campus to amplify the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ experience with creativity and enthusiasm.

The Creative Services and Brand Strategy Office provides support with print and digital communications and design.

  • Produce The Sea Gull Magazine and other campus publications
  • Graphic design & editing ( Business cards, Posters and fliers, Newsletters and magazines, T-shirts and promos)

The Digital Strategy  team team manages ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s core digital communication platforms, collaborating with various campus groups to develop and execute comprehensive digital campaigns. Our key focus areas include:

  • Website content strategy, governance, and user experience optimization.
  • Administration and training for the Content Management System (CMS).
  • Website analytics, tracking, and user testing.
  • Search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Email marketing and database management.
  • Online event registration and ticketing.
  • Management of electronic marquee messaging.

  • Playing an active role in the revitalization of downtown ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½
  • Promoting town-gown relations with University neighbors
  • Working with local and state legislators to ensure ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ is doing its best to meet workforce needs in Maryland and beyond
