Interested Students

Academic excellence is a core value for sororities and fraternities at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. To join, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Complete at least 12 collegiate credit hours (AP/IB or dual enrollment credits do not count).
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (GPA is not rounded).
  • Be an enrolled, degree-seeking undergraduate student at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
  • Attend a Fraternity and Sorority Life 101 presentation hosted by the university.

These requirements ensure that students are prepared for the time and responsibility involved in membership. Credits must be completed after high school graduation to confirm readiness for college rigor. The 2.5 GPA standard aligns with university and national organization expectations to prioritize academic success.

Membership in these organizations is invitation-based, time-intensive, and comes with additional risks, making the requirements more structured than general student organizations.
