Gender and Sexuality Studies Minor
Gender and sexuality studies has a vital role to play as our society attempts to grapple with evolving gender roles and changing attitudes toward sexuality. In politics, the media, education and our communities, students trained in gender and sexuality have fertile ground in which to make a difference. Students in this minor will explore how gender and sexuality roles and expectations have been produced and shaped by social institutions such as politics, religion, family, media, medicine, education and art.

In addition to a capstone course, students choose courses from a wide range of disciplines, including English, history, philosophy, political science, psychology and sociology.
For a more in-depth study, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ also offers an interdisciplinary studies major with a gender and sexuality studies track.
