Perdue School students are considered to be in the Pre-Professional Program until the admission requirements for the Professional Program have been met. Our advisors are here to help you navigate this process and guide you on the path to earn your degree.
The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Perdue School of Business offers a unique program titled "Business in the Atrium". This program invites you to visit the Perdue School to conduct information sessions, provide mock interview assistance, resume critiques, etc. The building provides an excellent informal environment for employers to come and network with our outstanding students. The activities are centered at an Information Table in the Atrium, the lobby of Perdue Hall, with its multiple gathering areas and video wall.
Offered through our Office of Professional Development, career coaching is available to Perdue School undergraduates, MBA students, and alumni. It includes business related self-assessment and planning, employment research, personal brand and self-marketing, interviewing, alumni referrals, and support for continuing professional education. To learn more, please see: Erik Larsen, Director of Professional Development & Career Coach.
Students who qualify for the Perdue Dean List will receive a congratulatory letter and certificate from the Perdue School of Business dean, Dr. Christy Weer.
To qualify for the dean’s list a student must have successfully completed at least 12 semester hours with grades of A, B or C and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester. Grades must be letter graded courses; pass/fail courses don’t count towards the dean’s list requirements. Grade changes may also affect this list and will be adjusted when notified by the Registrar’s Office.
The dean’s list is complied by the Registrar’s Office at the end of each semester; normally at the end of January for the fall semester and the end of June for the spring semester. The Perdue Dean’s List letters and certificates are normally mailed in February and July.
