Community Invited to Participate in SGA "Stop Hatin'" Walk Friday, March 11

SALISBURY, MD---ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s Student Government Association holds its third annual “Stop Hatin’” campaign March 7-11, culminating with a public awareness walk at 4 p.m. Friday, March 11.

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s events are part of a nationwide movement.

“Our hope is that after the campaign, the values we celebrate during the week will stay with ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ and the surrounding area,” said Breanna Nunez, event coordinator and SGA vice president of diversity.

Beginning in Red Square, the walk will include areas surrounding campus. Community members are invited to walk with students, faculty and staff, sending a message to “Stop the Hate.” Parking is available at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s Wayne Street Garage, the Guerrieri University Center lot off Dogwood Drive and the Blackwell Library lot off of Camden Avenue.
