Students Finish Second in R.T. Sputum Bowl
SALISBURY, MD--Students from ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s Respiratory Therapy Program recently took second place in the Sputum Bowl held at the MD/DC Society for Respiratory Care’s Regional Conference by the Sea in Ocean City. Seniors Tara Miller (ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½), Stacey Denkines (Edgewood) and Kathi Steinbiss (Laurel, DE) participated against 10 teams from both schools and hospital Departments of Respiratory Therapy.
The jeopardy-like competition featured topics related to respiratory care and cardiopulmonary medicine. The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ team missed first place by one point.
