ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Art Academies

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Art Academies introduce a world of artistic possibilities to young students. With immersive and diverse projects, students stay engaged and excited as they learn how to harness the power of their creativity.

Craft Time Designs

This creative, full-day academy will offer different options of crafting like painting by numbers, creating clay animals, making houses out of materials found on nature walks, tie-dye, watercolor painting with salt, and learning how to fix simple meals!

  • Monday-Friday/ June 24, 2024 to June 28, 2024 OR July 15, 2024 to July 19, 2024
  • 9 am to 4 pm – Lunch provided at Noon
  • Grades 1-5

Fun with Art Academy

This academy will allow students to gain knowledge of various artists to experiment and develop skills in multiple methods of art processes to demonstrate quality craftsmanship. The students will learn about a different artist and a different theme each day! Abstract painting, collages, splatter painting, cloud dough, salt painting, bubble painting, and tie-dye are just some of the techniques the students will learn about.

Comics Academy

We love Comics! Superheroes, space aliens, and silly characters! Students explore various techniques of self-expression through sequential storytelling, character creation, and universe-building. Students use techniques such as drawing, painting, collage, and creative writing to tell a story in visual form.

  • Monday- Friday / July 8, 2024 to July 12, 2024 OR July 29, 2024 to August 2, 2024
  • 9 am to Noon (Lunch will be provided at noon in the Commons. Student pick-up will be at 1 pm)

Games Academy

Students will explore various aspects of game creation. They will create their own rules, cards, characters, and gameboards. Students will work in groups to play and test their creations and learn how game mechanics work. They will learn team-building skills with their peers.

Art and Nature Academy

Exploration and discovery on ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s beautiful campus are central to the art-making techniques we will explore. Students will use a wide variety of mediums to express their connection with nature. Prints, pressings, and paintings will be used to replicate natural settings uniquely. The creation of birdhouses, wind-catchers, rock art, and sun prints will connect each student’s imagination with the outdoor world around them.

Mixed Media Art Academy

Get ready to mix things up! We’ll explore a myriad of art-making techniques through the combination of painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, fibers, and more. Students will be able to express their personalities through unique artworks created in non-traditional ways. Working in groups the students will be able to collaborate and discover new ways to create. This academy will be in a studio as well as outdoors on ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½’s beautiful campus.

  • Monday – Friday / July 15, 2024 to July 19, 2024
  • 9 am to Noon (Lunch will be provided in the Commons. Student pick-up is at 1 pm)

Note: Any student attending this academy who will be driving themselves to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ must have a parent/guardian submit an email to the Program Coordinator authorizing their permission for this action. The parent must obtain a ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ parking permit at:
